Alexander Bogolubsky, age 80, of Masthope, Lackawaxen died Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.
Mr. Bogolubsky was born August 13, 1945, in Germany and was the son of the late Alexei and the late Soja Bogolubsky.
He served in the Navy from 1965 to 1967.
Alex was a professional bowler and managed several bowling alleys and pro shops. He was a member of the Long Island Bowlers Hall of Fame, accumulating 46 perfect 300 scores. He was a union carpenter and along with Sheila ran a limo service. He was an exceptional cook and baker and animal and nature lover.
He is survived by his life partner of 40 years, Sheila Weissman of Lackawaxen, PA, one son: Alexander H. Bogolubsky of Bayside, NY, granddaughters, Bella & Bayla; his extended family, Adrianne & Johnny Cardiello of Island Park, NY; Robyn & Chris Lima of Oceanside, NY; and their children, Hailey & Izzy.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 30th from 1 to 2 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM with Deacon Russell F. Spicer officiating.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
