Christopher Robert Fuehrer, age 55, a lifelong resident of Hawley died Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born November 11, 1970, in Honesdale, PA, Chris was the son of Barbara R. (Fausey) Fuehrer of Hawley and the late Robert C. Fuehrer. A graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, Class of 1990, Chris worked as a truck driver for L.U. Transport Inc.

An avid fisherman, Chris especially loved his fishing trips to Maine with friends. He was also extremely generous and would go out of his way to help someone in need.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister: Heidi Fox of Hawley; two nephews: Tyler Fuehrer and his wife Alexandra of Lehighton and Pasquale Allegretta of Hawley; and one niece: Fiona Fox of Hawley.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, February 12, at Teeters' East Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be held Friday, February 13, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
