Annetta Reichert, age 95, a former resident of Lakeville, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Spring Village at Pocono, East Stroudsburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1987.
Born March 31, 1930, in Northampton, PA, Annetta was the daughter of the late Stephen and Carrie (Hess) Wasser. She was a graduate of Northampton High School.
A resident of Bethlehem for many years, she was employed as a cafeteria worker for Bethlehem School District. After moving to Lakeville, she joined the congregation of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, serving as the financial secretary and a member of the Willing Workers. She was also a member of Hawley Women's Club. An avid traveler and reader, she also loved to swim and once swam all the way across Lake Wallenpaupack.
She is survived by one daughter: Stephanie Marshall of East Stroudsburg; one grandson: Cassady Baxter of Georgia; one sister: Shirley Uherchik of Bethlehem, PA; and one niece: LuAnn Silberg of Fogelsville, PA.
She was preceded in death by one daughter: Leslie Reichert.
Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.
