Garrett Charles Alleborn, age 78, of Hidden Lake Estates in Hawley, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol (Rogers) Alleborn.

Born November 7, 1947, in Englewood, NJ, Garrett was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Pinkert) Alleborn.

Formerly a resident of Harrington Park and Closter, NJ, he graduated from Leicester Junior College in Massachusetts, and retired from the Steamfitters Union, Local #638, of New York City.

A Hawley resident for 30 years, he was a member of BVM Queen of Peace RC Church. In his free time, Garrett enjoyed spending time with his dog Butch, fishing, hunting and bird watching, really anything related to wildlife and nature. When the weather cooperated, he could be spotted riding his Harley. He also liked doing large scale rock landscaping, woodworking, creating amazing things in general and playing Scrabble.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by one daughter: Lisa Lyn Vance and her husband David Lee Vance Jr. of Oviedo, FL; his grandchildren: Anthony Garrett Lenaz and Jace Mario Lenaz; his stepchildren: Brian Welch and his wife Leah and their son Anthony and Joellen Welch and her husband Richard and their sons, Jim and Nathan. He was also survived by his brother, Richard Alleborn, and his sister, Christine Hade.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Michelle Alleborn.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
