Arlin D. Hackman Obituary

Arlin D. Hackman, of Tafton, Pike County, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He is survived by his fiancée and the love of his life, Sherry Ammons. As Arlin, Sherry and the rest of his family are faithful Christians, they know that they will be reunited again one day in heaven.



Born in Norristown, PA, Arlin was the son of the late Paul and Faye (Martin) Hackman. He worked as a long-haul trucker until his illness forced his retirement.



In addition to his fiancée Sherry, he is survived by three children: Stephanie Gutierrez and her husband Alex of Oklahoma City, OK, Jonathan Blackwell and his wife Darlene of Houston, TX, and Allison Rohmiller-Jordan and her husband Mason of Cameron Park, CA; two brothers: Galan Hackman and his wife Carol of Coopersburg, PA and Bryan Hackman and his wife Michelle of Douglasville, PA; and five grandchildren: Sofie Gutierrez, Adrian Blackwell, Leah Blackwell, Lincoln Jordan and Lennon Jordan.



He was predeceased by his son, Dale, in 2013.



Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
