Richard P. Gumble, age 84, of Paupack died Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton.
Mr. Gumble was born November 24, 1941, in Honesdale, PA and was the son of the late Warren E. and Marie E. (Herzog) Gumble. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Robertson (Correll) Gumble in 2022, his sister, Marie Kathryn Meyers and two brothers, Warren J. Gumble and Zane Gumble.
Dick was a graduate of Hawley High School and Oklahoma Aviation & Automotive Technology School. He was a business owner, mechanic, carpenter, truck driver, welder and jack of all trades. He was an avid hunter and loved the Paupack Fish & Game Club.
He is survived by two daughters: Kimberly A. McAndrew of Lake Ariel, PA and Sabrina L. Gallagher of Tafton, PA, and four sons: Matthew G. Gumble of Blooming Grove, PA, Kurt R. Gumble of Paupack, PA, Collin Gumble of Newfoundland, PA and Heath S. Gumble of Nicholson, PA, and many grand and great grandchildren.
Per his wishes a private burial service will be held, contact the family for details.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
