Eddy Dwayne Kleintop, Sr., age 61, of Greentown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, July 6, 2026. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, June Ann (Bunting) Kleintop.

Born July 28, 1964, in Allentown, PA, Eddy was the son of Frank Louis Kleintop JR of Danielsville, PA, and the late Carol Mae (Jacoby) Wieder. He owned and operated a roofing and construction company.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carol Mae Wieder, and his dear sister, Kim Jacoby.

In addition to his wife and father, Eddy is survived by his children: Eddy Kleintop Jr and wife Amber, Kenneth Kleintop and wife Dawn, Stephen Merwarth and wife Tanya, Christina Huryn, Ehren Gall, Ryan Gall, Kristen Kleintop and fiancé Dillon Comstock, Ryan Kleintop and fiancé Morgan Hunter, and Nate Butler and wife Megan.

He is also survived by three sisters: Debra Rogers of Newfoundland, Brenda Fox of Easton and Wendy Kleintop of Saylorsburg; four brothers: Frank Kleintop III of Easton, Jeremiah Wieder of Hampton VA, Mart Mosteller and Edward Kleintop; as well as 20 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Eddy will be held at a date, time and place to be announced.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
