James William Carrigan Obituary

Jim Carrigan, age 82, of Paupack passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 17, 2026. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Betty (Edelman) Carrigan.

Born November 22, 1943, in Philadelphia, Jim was the son of the late Edward Patrick and Marie (Barnes) Carrigan.

He was an electrical contractor and owned and operated J.W. Carrigan Inc. until his retirement in 2010. Jim was also a member of Local #98 IBEW in Philadelphia.

Jim was a football coach at Msgr. Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, PA for 35 years and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame.
