Kathryn B. Atchison, age 71, of Greentown died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at home.

Kippy was born July 2, 1955, in Abington, PA and was the daughter of the late Alfred Boegner Reinhardt and Kathryn Marie (Doyle) Reinhardt.

For much of her career, she was an office administrator for Prudential Insurance Company.

Kippy loved the outdoors and found joy in the beauty of the Pocono Mountains, the place she proudly called home. Her smile was as radiant as the sun, and her laugh was so contagious that anyone nearby couldn't help but join in. She cherished life's simple pleasures—a warm cup of coffee, flowers blooming in her garden, and the laughter of those she loved. Kippy will be remembered by her family, friends, and community as a hardworking, kind, and generous woman whose warmth touched the lives of everyone she met.

She was a dedicated and loving mother to two daughters: Elizabeth Atchison of Hatfield, PA and Stacy Tuttle of Cabot, AR, and two sons: Andrew Homan of Pipersville, PA and Jeffery Homan of Greentown, PA and five grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Christine and her husband, Edward Yeakel of Doylestown, PA, Margaret Kohr of New Hope, PA, two brothers: Charles Reinhardt of NY and Alfred and his wife, Kim Reinhardt of PA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8th at 1:00 pm at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley.

Private cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
