Wayne Anthony Howell, 45, of Hawley, passed away at home on Tuesday morning, August 4, 2026, after a short illness.

Born on January 26, 1981, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Wayne J. Howell and Theresa A. Howell. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Bear, of Hawley.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by his sister, Anita L. Peirano, and her husband, Robert A. Peirano, of Honesdale; their daughters, Chiara, Oriana, and Breanna Peirano, his cherished nieces; his aunt, Anne L. Howell of Hawley; her children; and many cousins.

Wayne was a man of all work trades. He was a loving and caring son whose kindness touched everyone he met. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and enjoyed impersonating Elvis Presley. He also loved playing video games with his nieces, cousins, and friends.

The family will hold private services.
