Vincent J. Siino, age 87, of Lakeville passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife and his "adopted son", Jason Merrill, by his side on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Vincent and his wife, the former Diane M. Walsh, had been married for 45 years.

Born September 14, 1938, in Manhattan, NY, Vincent was the son of the late Vincent James and Santa Mary (Guarneri) Siino. He was the youngest of 13 siblings. A Marine Corps veteran, he was an operating engineer for the Big Six Power Station in Woodside, Queens, NY. He and Diane had been residents of Lakeville for over 35 years and considered themselves to be living in their own little slice of heaven.

He and Diane were avid and vocal football fans. Vincent was a self-taught handyman who could fix nearly anything. He enjoyed working around the house and taking the best care of Diane.

He is survived by his loving wife: Diane; his “adopted son:” Jason Merrill; a son: Vincent Siino; two sisters: Rose Tracy and Angela Rosa, both of West Islip NY; and one brother: Frank Siino of Ocean Gate, NJ.

He was predeceased by his son, Edwin Siino. .

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, from 1 to 3 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will follow at 3:00 PM.

Friends are invited back to the family home after the service.

Private cremation will be held at a later date at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
