Obituary of Doris B. Eichlin

Doris B. Eichlin, age 84, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, where she had been a resident since 1997. Mrs. Eichlin was born July 24, 1920 in Lebanon Twp., NJ and was the daughter of the late Roy J. and the late Bessie M. (Lewis) Johnston. She was a graduate of High Bridge NJ High School. She was an avid seamstress & cook and enjoyed making her own clothing. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a sales clerk for G.C. Murphy Co. & Horns Clothing, both in Washington, NJ. She is survived by one daughter: Carol Ulmer of Tafton, PA 3 Grandchildren, Karl, Kimberly & Kyle and 4 great grandchildren She was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Ulmer, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Calling hours will be Tuesday April 12, 2005 from 9:00 to 10:00AM at DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday April 12, 2005 at 10:00AM at DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington with Rev. Doug Spencer officiating.
