Obituary of Anna Danko

Anna Danko, age 95, of Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center, Lake Ariel, died Monday, July 18, 2005, at Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and the late Pauline Samaschin. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Danko. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a hairdresser. She is survived by two daughters: Arlene Chory of Tafton, PA, and Jo Ann Donnelly of Floral Park, NY; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. Martin M. Boylan, Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church of Honesdale. Burial will be arranged by Dalton Funeral Home, Floral Park, NY, in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association NEPA Regional, 63 N.
