Justa M. Torres, age 76, Tafton died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart.
Mrs. Torres was born April 14, 1929 in San German, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of the late Carmen Torres.
She was a seamstress.
Mrs. Torres was an active volunteer with the Senior Citizen and Roman Catholic Church groups while she lived in Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Martha & Stephen Pastor of Tafton, PA; Granddaughter & Grandson-in-law, Lorraine & Stephen Bartleson of Hawley, PA; Step-son, Joseph Betancourt of Puerto Rico.
Calling hours will be Thursday August 18, 2005 from 9:00 to 10:00AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday August 18, 2005 at 10:30AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor.
Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley
