Geraldine Deininger, age 79, of Akron, OH, died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Rocky Knoll Nursing Home, Akron, OH. Mrs. Deininger was born November 20, 1925, in Springfield Gardens, NY, and was the daughter of the late Gregory and the late Barbara (Dierschke) Krieg. She was preceded in death by Donald, her husband of 48 years, in 1997.
She was retired from Mid-Island Dept. Stores on Long Island in 1991 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Deininger was a member of Woodloch Springs Sunshiners and Bowling Team, and Catholic Daughters of America, Court #1702, Smithtown, NY.
She is survived by a daughter: Donna Riegger of Hauppauge, NY; daughter & son-in-law: Debra & Daniel Loesel of Manhattan, NY; daughter & son-in-law: Pamela & Miguel Hung of Raleigh, NC; daughter & son-in-law: Michele & Paul Bolinger of Akron, OH; son & saughter-in-law: Gregory & Bonnie Deininger of Chicago, IL; and grandchildren: Christopher, William, Cyndi, Tara, Brittany and Michael.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, Thursday, Oct 6, at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor.
