Obituary of Charles Robert Knapp

Charles Robert Knapp, age 61, of Forest City and formerly of Greentown, died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Mr. Knapp was born August 11, 1954 in Honesdale, PA and was the son of the late Oscar and Evelyn (White) Knapp. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, William Knapp He served in the Navy and was a laborer who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He is survived by his life companion, Bonnie J Johnson of Forest City, PA; three daughters: Rosellen Knapp of CA, Christina Knapp of CA and Bonita Bensley of Forest City, PA, and one son: James W. Johnson III of Forest City, PA; six grandchildren: Brianna, Brice, Cassandra, Elizabeth, Loralie, and Jo-Jo; four sisters: Arlene Kelly of Hawley, PA, Delores Pruess of Greeley, PA, Jennie Barnes of Barryville, NY and Debbie Toth of FL; three brothers: Bernie Knapp of Kimbles, PA, Jimmy Knapp of Kimbles, PA and Joseph Knapp of Greeley, PA and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 31st at noon at Forest Volunteer Fire Department, 1129 Towpath Rd., Hawley.
