Obituary of Leonard William Tamson

Leonard William Tamson, age 64, of Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Born November 3, 1951, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Leonard and Claire (Grohskopf) Tamson. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a salesperson by Fertig's Department Store, Perth Amboy, NJ. He had formerly been a resident of Tafton, PA and Laurence Harbor, NJ. He is survived by one sister: Susan Tamson of Tafton; one brother: Martin Tamson of Denver, CO; an aunt: Joan Pascone of Putnam, CT; and several cousins: Bill Lannon of Southbridge, MA, Robert Lannon of Putnam, CT, Grace Young of Putnam, CT, and Marion Orlofsky of Sun City Center, FL. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 25, at St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church, 414 Church St., Honesdale, celebrated by Rev. Marek Wasilewski. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ.
