Obituary of Bertha Chuprevich

Bertha Chuprevich, age 89, of Hawley died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Mrs. Chuprevich was born November 22, 1926 in Rowland, PA and was the daughter of the late Warren and Eva (Williams) Quick. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter W. Chuprevich in 1997, three brothers: Ted, Walter, and Buddy Quick and five sisters: Marie McKean, Catherine Compton, Elizabeth Landers, Hattie Fanguy and Dorothy McCauley. She was a cafeteria worker at Wallenpaupack Area School District. Bert was a member of B.V.M. Queen of Peace RC Church, Hawley Volunteer Fire Department Fire Auxiliary, retired PA school employee retirement system, she loved traveling baking and spending time with family and loved life in general. She is survived by one daughter: Sandra & her husband, John Clark of Hawley, PA and one son: Rich Chuprevich & his partner, James Kaiser of Palm Springs, CA, one granddaughter, Pamela & her husband, Peter Kuzma,Jr of Royersford, PA and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 6th at 10 am at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard Beck. Burial will be in B.V.M.
