John E. Clerici, age 73, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at home. Born December 27, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Guy and Estelle (Spooner) Clerici. A Navy veteran, he worked as a pressman for the New York Times until his retirement in 2005. Formerly of Lyndhurst, NJ, John had been a Fawn Lake Forest resident since 2003. He was a member of the American Legion, Wilson Kelch Post #311, Hawley. An avid fisherman, he was also a member of Trout Unlimited. He is survived by one sister: Barbara Rauch of Hawley; a nephew: Daniel Rauch; a niece: Kathleen Ferrante; five great nieces and nephews and two great great nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Gary Stagnitta. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17th from 1-5 PM at Central Volunteer Fire Department, Westcolang Rd, Hawley, PA. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
