Juliana "Julie" M Reser, age 85, a lifelong resident of Hawley died Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Mrs. Reser was born March 22, 1938, in Honesdale, PA and was the daughter of the late Joseph Nicholas and Marion (Kimble) Schmidt. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert Karl Reser, Jr. in 2001 and her sister, Suellen Schmidt. Julie was a loan officer for the Hawley Bank and later PNC Bank. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey K. and his wife, Diane Reser of Dunn, NC; Albert Scott Reser and his fiancée, Ann Brill of Hawley, PA, Andrew J. and his wife, Jude Marie Reser of Union City, KY; six grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Juliann, Hillarie, Joseph and Benjamin; five great grandchildren, Bobby, Jace, Carson, Chloe and Caiden. Calling hours will be Monday, July 10th from 5 to 8 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday, July 11th at 10 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley. Memorials may be made to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Rd., Honesdale, PA 18431
