Jennie Blinn, age 92, of Honesdale, PA died Thursday, July 6, 2023, peacefully at home.
Born September 28, 1930, in Manhattan, NY, Jennie was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Fela (Santana) Rodriguez. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a food server at Homestead Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Newton, NJ, and Mount Haven Resort in Milford, PA.
She is survived by two daughters: Toni Jones and Jennifer Presciti, two sons: Willi DeJesus and his wife Christine, with whom she resided, and Victor Presciti; one sister: Felipe Morales; eight grandchildren: Mike Murray, Jason Murray, Sara Ferrington Melissa Rusher, Makala Ingrham, Amelia Payne, Christopher Davidson and Joseph Marion; her great grandchildren: J.P. Murray, Isabella Murray, Olivia Murray, Carmela Murray, Ariel Payne, Danny Rusher, Chenoa Marion and Lisa Marion.
Jennie was preceded in death by two daughters: Joann DeJesus and Carmen Auwerda; two sisters: Marjorie Pedrogo and Helen Martinez; and three brothers: Rudy, Eddy and Paul Rodriguez.
Private interment was held in Sparta Presbyterian Methodist Cemetery, Sparta Township, NJ.
