Obituary of Michael Lecce

Michael Lecce, age 61, of Greentown passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2024, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. Born June 16, 1962, in Far Rockaway, NY, Michael was the son of the late Gerard Lecce and Dorothy Blasi. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life and most recently for LP Cylinder in Shohola. He enjoyed his job and really enjoyed being able to see different places. Michael was a fan of Corvettes and motorcycles. He also loved fishing, especially on Lake Teedyuskung. He also really enjoyed different types of food and loved nothing more than eating a nice meal with family and friends. He gave some great advice and would help anyone he could. He is survived by one daughter: Jackie Lecce of Greentown; and one son: Justin Lecce and his wife, Samantha, of Hawley; a granddaughter: Jenna; one brother: Jerry Lecce and his wife, Yaffa, of East Islip, NY; and his former wife: Gina of Lakeville. He is also survived by an Uncle: Billy Politano; an Aunt: Marie Navarra; his cousins, a niece, nephews, and many friends who loved him dearly. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 11, from 5 to 7 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Father William A. Mentz officiating. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
