Obituary of Peter B. Werner

Peter B. Werner, age 84, of Hawley died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale following a short illness.
Mr. Werner was born April 6, 1919 at Newark, NJ the son of the late Peter and Alice Werner. He was married to Lottie J. Noecker Werner for 61 years. She predeceased him in August 2002.
He served in the Army during World War II . He was a retired Armament Engineer for the Army employed by Picatinnay Arsenal, NJ.
Mr. Werner was a member of American Legion, Wilson-Kelch Post 311, Hawley, PA 18428 and
VFW Post 5635, Lackawaxen, PA 18435
He is survived by one son: John Werner of NJ. Also a sister: Claire Vaughan of NJ and one brother: Harold Werner of FL
Grandsons, Michael, Christian And John Robert Werner; Daughter-in-law, Arlene Lyons of NJ; Nephew, Walter Noecker of NY. Additional survivors include nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Werner was predeceased by a son Peter, 3 sisters Dorothy, Ursula and Alice and 2 brothers Edward and Wiliam.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, , Greeley where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Thomas J. Petro Pastor.
Burial will be in Lackawaxen Cemetery, Lackawaxen on Monday at 11:00 am.
