Rosemary DeGroat, age 77, Rt 6 East, Hawley died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Mrs. DeGroat was born March 12, 1927, at Hyde Park, NY, and was the daughter of the late Howard and the late Gertrude (Yarnes) Crawford. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Daniel R. DeGroat. She was a retired sewer for Sherman Mills in Hawley and was a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church for 33 years.
She is survived by her husband: Daniel R. DeGroat; one daughter: Melody Ann Conklin of Hawley, PA; 4 granddaughters: Rebecca Kopedlow of The Hideout, Lake Ariel, PA; Bethann Spinelli of Rowland, PA; Debra Ryan of Waymart, PA; Kimberly Bea Murray of Easton, PA
Calling hours will be Monday, March 15, from 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 16, at 2:00 at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev Douglas Rhine, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kimbles.
