Alois Louis Kaltschitz, age 68, of, Hawley died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at his home Mr. Kaltschitz was born February 10, 1936 in Prasz,Gottschee, Yugoslavia, the son of Josefa (Debeljak)and the late Josef Kaltschitz. Mr. Kaltschitz moved to Hawley in 1989 after coming here on weekends for many years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and apple trees. He was a retired butcher for Karl Ehmer Meats in Ridgewood, NY. Mr. Kaltschitz was a member of Gottscheer Vereiningung in Ridgewood, NY for 38 years, Forest Vol. Fire Dept. for over 30 years He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Marie (Weber) Kaltschitz Daughter & Son-in-law, Ann & James Monaghan of Hawley, PA; Son & Daughter-in-law, William & Lisa Kaltschitz of Glendale, NY; Granddaughter, Samantha Monaghan; Granddaughter, Elizabeth Kaltschitz; Grandson, Joseph Bove. His Mother, Josefa, 3 Sisters and a 1 Brother, Many Nieces & Nephews. Calling hours will be Friday Aug 13, 2004 from 2 to 4 PM only at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday Aug 13, 2004 at 4:00 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. In Lieu of Flowers or Mass cards Memorials may be made to Wayne Memorial Hospital, Park & West Sts. Honesdale, PA 18431 or American Diabetes Assoc., 63 North Franklin St., Kirby Health Center Annex, Wilkes-barre, PA 18701
