Mary Edgar, age 67, of Woodloch Springs, Hawley, died Friday, August 27, 2004, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Mrs. Edgar was born February 6, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Marcella (Smith) Mulhern. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Theodore W. Edgar. She had been retired from the Financial Aid Office of County College Of Morris, NJ, for 15 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Dorothy Van Houten of Washington, NJ, and Mary Ann Wills of Duncansville, PA, and one son: Theodore T. Edgar of Landers, NJ, as well as 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Van Houten.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 30, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, August 31, at 10:00 AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley with Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
