Obituary of Sadie Anna Corino

Sadie Anna Corino, age 94, of Woodloch Springs, Hawley, died Friday, August 27, 2004, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Mrs. Corino was born January 15, 1910 in Brooklyn, NY, and was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Angelina (Fiorino) Scavone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Corino. Formerly a resident of Bayside, Queens, NY, she had worked as a seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter: Margaret Baffa of Hawley, PA, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 31, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday evening, Sept. 1, at the Doyle B. Shaffer Funeral Home, Little Neck, NY. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday morning at St. Robert Of Bellarmine RC Church, Bayside, Queens. Burial will be in Mt. St. Marys Cemetery, Flushing, Queens, NY.
