Obituary of Catherine T. Wasco

Catherine T. Wasco, age 87, of Walts Landing, Hawley, died Sunday, October 3, 2004, at home. Born February 5, 1917 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Andrew J. Wasco. She was formerly a resident of Carteret, NJ, and Scranton, PA, and she worked as a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, Andrew, she was preceded in death by two sons, Andrew Jr. and Paul; a daughter, Grace; a grandson, Gerard; and a great-grandson, Andrew IV.
She is survived by two daughters: Marian Verikas and Nancy Wasco, both of Hawley; one son: Joseph Wasco of Saylorsburg, PA; and one sister: Margaret Mogelesky of Hawley, PA.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Oct 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 10:00 AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, with Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery.
