Obituary of Franz Ambrosch

Franz Ambrosch, age 74, of Hawley, died Friday, November 5, 2004, at Preferred Hospice at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville. Mr. Ambrosch was born March 22, 1930 in Slovenia, and was the son of the late Edward and Anna (Poje) Ambrosch. His wife was Edna Seubert Ambrosch. She predeceased him 1994. He retired as a plumber for United Nations in 1987. Franz was an avid gardener and kept a large vegetable garden which he shared with friends and neighbors in Hawley, especially on Rocky View Road. He is survived by three sons: Stephan Ambrosch of Pawcatuck, CT, Walter Ambrosch of Troy, PA and Vincent Ambrosch of Glendale, NY Also three sisters: Anna Fern of Hollywood, FL; Regina Emeric of Hrvatska, Croatia; Amalija (Margie)Mavrin of Ljubljana, Slovenia; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at the familys convenience at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley and will also be private.
