Frederick August Hintermister, age 75, of Ivy Wood, Lake Wallenpaupack, died Monday, November 15, 2004 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Balitmore, MD. Mr. Hintermister was born February 22, 1929 in Scranton, PA the son of the late Frederick August and the late Helene (Sherwood) Hintermister. He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Hintermister attended Keystone College received his bachelors degree from Syracuse University and his masters degree from American University. Mr. Hintermister worked for 38 years with IBM in Washington, DC. He retired as a Sales And Marketing Executive from IBM, Washington, DC in 1992. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Mary Kathleen (Page) Hintermister, one daughter: Sally Suzanne Hintermister of Mt. Airy, MD and three sons: Frederick August Hintermister of Mt. Airy, MD, John Page Hintermister of Frederick, MD, Thomas Edward Hintermister of Annapolis, MD, 4 grandsons, one sister: Shirley Ann Walsh of Mt. Cobb, PA and one brother: Howard Hintermister of Hercules, CA Calling hours will be Friday Nov. 19, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday Nov. 19, 2004 at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church, Church St, Hawley with Rev. William Samford, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly on Friday. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Church St, Hawley, PA 18428
