Obituary of Anthony M “Chip” Tallarico, Jr.

Anthony M Tallarico, Jr., age 57, of Lakeville died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Mercy Hospice, Scranton. Mr. Tallarico was born April 6, 1947 in Long Branch, NJ the son of Mary (Pallone) and the late Anthony M. Tallarico, Sr. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam war . He was employed as a Welder by Marshall Machinery and was a retired police officer for the Ocean Twp., NJ police dept. He was the orginator and lead bass singer of the Shoretones in Long Branch, NJ. He also worked for Monmouth Truck in Shrewsbury, NJ for 5 years. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen M (Northey) Tallarico, his mother Maryann Pallone Tallarico of Long Branch, NJ ; one daughter: Mary Ann Maggs of Tinton Falls, NJ and two sons: Anthony Tallarico of Wellington, FL; John Tallarico of Neptune, NJ ; a stepson William Johnson of Parlin, NJ; three brothers: Donnie Tallarico of Long Branch, NJ, Gregory Tallarico of Wanamassa, NJ, Michael Tallarico of W. Long Branch, NJ and Dear Friends, Lynn & Richard Barnes of Tafton, PA A memorial service will be held Thurs. Jan. 6, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Queen of Peace RC Church in Hawley and a memorial service will be held Fri. Jan. 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Carmel RC Church in Asbury Park, NJ.
