Margaret M. Franco, age 78, of Wayne Woodland Manor, 295 South St., Waymart, died Friday, January 14, 2005, at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. Mrs. Franco was born March 14, 1926, in Jersey City, NJ, and was the daughter of the late William A. and the late Anne (Kennedy) Bloomer.
She was retired as a Paymaster/Benefits Administrator by Medical Economics in Oradell, NJ. Mrs. Franco was a member of 30-year member Bergen Co. Council of Girl Scouts of America.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Thompson of FL and Margaret Church of VA; a son & daughter-in-law, Fredrick Rick & Mary Ann (West) Franco of Lake Ariel, PA; a daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Ted Ford of Branchville, NJ; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Calling hours will be Sunday Jan. 16, 2005, from 2 to 5 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at 2:00PM at First Presbyterian Church, Church St, Hawley, with Rev. William Samford, Pastor, officiating.
