Martha J. Wargo, age 83, of Lake Ariel died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the home of her son.
Mrs. Wargo was born October 23, 1921 in Hawley, PA and was the daughter of the late Arthur Elwood and the late Bertha May (Mitchell) Benjamin.
Prior to retirement she was employed as a garment worker by Sherman Mills In Hawley & Katz In Honesdale.
She is survived by one daughter: Freda Black of Hamlin, PA and one son, with whom she resided: Leonard A. Wargo of Lake Ariel, PA
Calling hours will be Friday Jan. 28, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Saturday Jan. 29, 2005 at 10:00AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Ronald W. Onder, officiating.
Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley.
