Margaret Mary Prendergast, age 80, of Grandpas Woods, Tafton died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Mrs. Prendergast was born September 12, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and the late Margaret (McGrath) Prendergast.
She is survived by one sister with whom she resided: Joan Squire of Tafton, PA
Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Prendergast of Brooklyn, NY; and 3 nieces, Ellen MacPherson of Staten Island, NY; Jane Waters of Brooklyn, NY; Beth Corsi of Brooklyn, NY
She was predeceased by a brother Bart in 1971 and a brother-in-law Daniel Squire in 1993
Calling hours will be Friday Feb. 11, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday Feb. 12, 2005 at 10:00AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by William B. Healey, Pastor.
Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley
