Obituary of Juliet R. Scherne

Juliet R. Scherne, age 89, a resident at Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center, Lake Ariel died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center, Lake Ariel. Mrs. Scherne was born May 19, 1915 in Queens, NY and was the daughter of the late Alfonso and the late Rose (Mascari) Romeo. She was a former member St. Adelberts RC Church in Maspeth, NY and St. Veronicas RC Church in Paupack, PA. She resided in Elmhurst, NY and then Tafton for many years. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper by Cryder Realty In Queens, NY. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Wendy & William Eisenhauer of Greentown, PA; and 2 granddaughters, Dawn Strong of Hawley, PA; Nicole Eisenhauer of Baltimore, MD and 3 great grandsons She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Charles M. Scherne. There will be a memorial service at Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St., Hawley, on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at 2:00PM. Burial was in St. Johns Cemetery, Middle Villagem, NY.
