Linda Jean Wozniak, age 66, of Hawley died Monday, March 14, 2016, at VNA Hospice at Geisinger CMC, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of eight years, Kamel Kaye Wozniak.
Born January 18, 1950, in Ft. Meade, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn Schwarztrauber. She worked with her husband Kaye doing home maintenance and had a loyal following of customers around Lake Wallenpaupack. Linda loved flowers and gardening, as well as cooking.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: Richard Boki of Wilkes Barre and Dominick Caljean of Paupack; a stepson: Kamel Kaye Wozniak III of Freehold, NJ; a stepdaughter: Shannan Wozniak of Mastic, NY; four grandchildren: Anyah and Bella Caljean and Zackary and Colin Wozniak; three sisters: Janet Gabriel of Scranton, Nancy Levis of Scranton, and Margie Singlet of Wilkes Barre; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent and Thomas Verhovshek, and a sister, Evelyn Risko.
Calling hours will be Saturday, March 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and Sunday, March 20, from noon to 1:30 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 at the funeral home with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Retired Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
