James Okey Williams, age 60, of Dingmans Ferry, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. He is survived by his beloved wife, Della J. Williams. There were married on June 25, 2005.
Born August 25, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Okey and Addie (Mays) Williams. Formerly of Briarwood, Queens, NY, he was a train conductor for the Long Island Railroad until his retirement in 2012.
A Dingmans Ferry resident for 17 years, he was a member of Faith Christian Outreach Center, Lords Valley, where he and his wife served as Deacons for many years. Known as Big Jim the Gentle Giant, he loved anything having to do with trains and his favorite holiday was Christmas. He loved food and grilling, his specialties being barbeque ribs, teriyaki turkey wings and pot pies. Most important to him, however, was that he loved and faithfully served God with all his heart.

Williams of Dingmans Ferry, PA, and Arnell W. Gill of Virginia and Aniyah M. Franklin of Brooklyn, NY.
