Obituary of Thomas Makowski

Thomas Makowski passed away on March 4, 2023, in the 87th year of his life, in the company of his wife of 63 years, Anne. He was the son of Stanley and Mary (Dwyer) Makowski, and brother to Raymond and Irene Ramos. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on October 15, 1935. He attended PS34 and Brooklyn Automotive High School. Tom was also a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. A resident of Greentown for over 50 years, Tom had worked in maintenance for most of his life and was employed at Reichman Welding and Wallenpaupack Lake Estates. He is also survived by his daughter, Dawn Keiser and her husband Robert; his grandsons, Thomas and wife Heather and Ryan and wife Erica. Tom was predeceased by his son, Philip, but is survived by Philip's wife, Judith and their children, Patrick, Stephanie and Shane. Tom also had four great grandchildren, Fox, Westley, James, and Amelia. Tom's family sincerely thanks the hospice nurses and aides of Wayne Memorial Hospice for their kindness to Tom.
