John Anthony Bosner Obituary

John Anthony Bosner RN, age 78, of Bradenton, FL and formerly of Rochester, NY and Anchorage, AK, died Thursday, May 26, 2022, at home.


Mr. Bosner was born October 6, 1943, in Rochester, NY and was the son of the late John A. and Sabina (Lyons) Bosner. He was also predeceased by a brother, Kevin and a sister, Maureen.


John received a Batchelor's Degree from John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. He served in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves and was the general manager for Allied Industrial Laundry in Rochester, NY and was manager of Sleater's Aluminum Products in Bradenton, FL. He later earned his Associates Degree in nursing from Manatee Community College and became an ICU nurse at Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL and Alaska Native Hospital in Anchorage, AK.


He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Mary Patricia (McHale) Bosner; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Roy Fulk of Bradenton, son & daughter-in-law, Christopher and Heather Bosner of Bradenton, four grandchildren: Eli & Violet Fulk and Finnegan & Molly Bosner; and a sister: Sabina Steffenhagen of Rochester, NY and a brother: Leo Bosner of Washington, DC.


Private urn burial will be in BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Hawley, PA.
