Victor George Banko, age 92, of Hawley died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart.
Mr. Banko was born April 26, 1912 in Fayette City, PA and was the son of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Macko) Banko.
He retired from the Central Railroad Of NJ where he was a conductor for 35 Years.
Mr. Banko was a member of Knights Of Columbus Council 797, Hawley, PA 18428
He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Anna (Austupski) Banko, one daughter: Christine Napiorski of Iselin, NJ and one son: Victor F. Banko of Dover, NJ; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Friday March 4, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday March 5, 2005 at 10:00AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, by Rev. William B. Healey.
Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley
