Bertil Paul Solversen, age 88, of Rowland died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at home.
Mr. Solversen was born November 18, 1916 in Langford, SD and was the son of the late Harold Sigve and the late Marie Mary (Snorteland) Solversen.
He served in the Army from 1942 to 1945 during World War II .
He was a retired carpenter
Mr. Solversen was a member of Central Vol. Fire Dept.
He is survived by two sisters: Marquerite Blomstrand of Riverdale, NJ, Thelma Saaf of Rowland, PA and one brother: Myron A. Solversen of San Leandro, CA and 8 nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday March 21, 2005 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Monday March 21, 2005 at 2:00PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Norman R. Beighley, Pastor Bethel Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Rowland Cemetery, Rowland on Monday
