To My Dear Diane,
It has been almost 5 months since your life was tragically taken. There has not been a day that went by that I have not thought of you. I miss you more than anyone will ever know. You have been such a dear friend to me. We have shared many secrets, tears, stories of pasttimes and plenty of laughs. Sometimes I am very angry with you that you had to leave all of us that need you. Sometimes I think that you are playing a sick, cruel joke on all of us and you have been on a cruise around the world. SO when are you coming back? I know how much you loved ALL of your children and I know how much they love you. I know that you didn't have any control over this but none of us were ready for you to leave. Please know that I miss you and love you. I think of you and Kerry, Mac and Dante everyday. I know that you will guide over them and keep them safe. I just wish you could be here for all of us. You have touched my life in a way that no one else has. Thank you for touching my life and being a part of it. I thank God for the priveledge of knowing you and I am honored to say that you are my friend. Rest in Peace my dear friend, you will always be in my heart and my prayers.
Kerry, Mac and Dante- you will also be in my prayers and know that I think of you everyday. I have tried to call you several times, but no one ever answers. If you ever need anything, please call me.

It was always fun to cover stories together when Diane and I were reporters. The things I'll remember best about her are her spirit of adventure, her passion for life, and the deep love she had--and will have forever--for her children.

I want to extend my sincere sympathy to the family of Diane Glynn. Ms. Glynn was a huge inspiration in my life and is an amazing person who of all people did not deserve this. She did nothing but reach out to students by giving us advice and encouragement in all the things we do. I am deeply saddened for your loss and also that so many students will miss out on having such a wonderful person as a professor. While you get through this tragic time please remember that she served as a role model for many and that's someone to be proud to have in your life.
Yours truly,
Christen Carella Soph. at University of Scranton

Professor Glynn was by far one of the most caring professors at the University of Scranton. Professor Glynn made every student feel welcome and at home in her classroom. I had Professor Glynn during my first year at the university. Professor Glynn was one of the major reasons I decided to stay at the university. She always made me feel at home in her classroom. She was a mother to every student in her class. Not only did Professor Glynn make herself available to students during the work week, but she made herself available even during her personal time. Professor Glynn’s classroom was always lively and exciting. Professor Glynn mastered the art of teaching with her ability to make learning fun. Professor Glynn spoke about her children in such a way that she made her love known to all of her students. Professor Glynn was so happy and passionate about her children that we constantly begged her to bring them in to class. I am deeply sorry for the family’s loss. Professor Glynn’s absence will also be a huge loss to the university community. I consider myself honored to have studied under Professor Glynn.

Professor Glynn was a wonderful person in every aspect. She loved teaching her students and spoke with much pride about her children. She will be greatly missed. We often wonder why things like this happen, but sometimes there is no good answer. "Angels are students in Heaven and teachers on Earth." Professor Glynn was a teacher on Earth, and an angel in Heaven. Ms. Glynn and her family are forever in our prayers.

Professor Glynn was not just a teacher to her students, she was like a mother to us. I can remember the first day in class, she gave us her e-mail and phone number and said if we needed anything, we could call her, even if it did not pertain to class. She visited me at my place of work, Circuit City just to say hi and to make my day better. She reminded me of my mother on other personal levels because i needed help with things, and she was there for me. She was a lady who would go out and do anything she possibly could for anyone no matter the reason, just as long as her student believed in it. I am deeply sorry for the family's loss, because she made me feel like i was a son, and i am damn glad i had the oppurunity to be a student,a friend, one of her own.
