Obituary of Kenneth R. Hayes

Kenneth R. Hayes, age 90, of Wayne Woodland Manor, Waymart died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart.
Mr. Hayes was born March 22, 1915 at Brooklyn, NY the son of the late William and Mary Hayes. He was married to Priscilla Falkowski Hayes for 62 years.
He served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Hayes hobbies were cabinet making, poetry, hiking and organic gardening. He was a 30 year veteran of the Jersey City Police Dept.
He was retired as a Police Officer from Jersey City PD in 1979.
He is survived by his wife: Priscilla (Falkowski) Hayes,
two daughters: Dawn O'Leary of Santa Monica, CA and
Colette Hayes of Spring Lake Heights, NJ
one son: Wayne Hayes of Cranford, NJ
one brother: James Hayes of Paramus, NJ
and 8 grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Gerard L. Hawley, Pastor of St. John Neuman and Good Shepard RC Church.
Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley on Wednesday following the Mass.
