George Walker Linsenbigler, Sr., age 70, of Silver Lake Road, Dingmans Ferry, died Sunday, June 5, 2005, at home. Born January 28, 1935, in Apollo, PA, he was the son of the late Edgar Dean and the late Marie (Mornes) Linsenbigler.
He was retired as a Steel Worker from US Steel, Fairless Hills, PA in 1975. He was a Sunday School teacher, as well as a member of the NRA and National Wild Turkey Federation.
He is survived by two daughters: Patricia Jacoby of Apollo, PA, and Joyce McDermott of Apollo, PA; two sons: George Linsenbigler, Jr. of Tafton, PA, and Harry Linsenbigler of East Stroudsburg, PA; one sister: Rosemarie of Michigan; one brother: Edgar Linsenbigler of Murraysville, PA; his former wife: D. Yvonne Linsenbigler of Apollo, PA; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 10 to 11 am at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, with Rev. Arthur Harshman, Chaplin of Hospice St. John, officiating.
