Albert W. Frisbie, age 83, of Hawley died Monday, June 6, 2005 at Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Mr. Frisbie was born January 28, 1922 in Tafton, PA and was the son of the late Clarence and the late Lottie (Kyzer) Frisbie.
He served in the Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service during World War II.
He was a retired Psychiatric Security Aide for Farview State Prison.
Mr. Frisbie was a member of American Legion, Wilson-Kelch Post 311, Hawley, PA 18428

He is survived by two daughters: Lea Peoples of Lakeville, PA, Mary Lou Frisbie of Archbald, PA and one son: Howard Frisbie of Christiana, PA and of one sister: Mary Compton of Hawley, PA and two brothers: Robert Frisbie of Zephyr Hills, FL, Clinton Frisbie of Hawley, PA
Calling hours will be Thursday June 9, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday June 10, 2005 at 10:00 at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley
