Obituary of Estella R. Gombert

Estella R. Gombert, age 79, of Walker Lake, Shohola, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at home. Born February 10, 1926, in Hawley, she was the daughter of the late Byron and the late Bertha (Williams) Warner. She was predeceased by her husband of 22 years, Samuel Frederick Gombert, in 1966. A housewife, she also worked at Vaccas Mill, Hawley; as well as the Dimmock Inn and Milford Convalescent Home, Milford. She was a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Hawley, where she was also a Sunday School teacher. She is survived by one daughter: Bonnie Lynn Gombert Yocum of Allentown, PA; one son: Barry Gombert of Shohola, PA; six granddaughters: Belinda Gombert Eilbacher of Shohola, PA; Cindy Gombert Crotty of Shohola, PA; Katrina Yocum David of Hazelton, PA; Amanda Yocum Marks of Allentown, PA; Bethany Yocum of Allentown, PA; Heather Yocum of Allentown, PA; 5 great grandsons and 4 great granddaughters. Calling hours will be Monday from 10 to 11 am at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley. Burial will be in Mill Rift Cemetery, Mill Rift, PA. Memorials may be made to the donors favorite charity.
