Maria T. Mirro, age 52, of Paupack Heights, Paupack, died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Filamania (DeMatteo) Taranovich. She worked as a waitress at Mikes Pizzaria in Lakeville, PA.
She is survived by a daughter: Krystal Mirro of Ledgedale, PA; two sons: Tony Macaluso of Long Island, NY, and Ronald C. Mirro II of Shohola, PA; a loving companion: Brad Huff of Paupack, PA; a sister: Deborah Taranovich of Long Island, NY; two brothers: Stephen Taranovich of Long Island, NY, and Joseph Taranovich of Queens, NY; and two grandchilren: Ronnie and Amber of Shohola, PA.
She was a loving companion to Brad Huff, a devoted mother and a devoted grandmother to Ronnie and Amber.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Prayer Service will be Wednesday at 11:30 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, with Rev. Gerard L. Hawley, Pastor of St. John Neumann RC Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Paupack.
