Obituary of Yolande Schmidt

Yolande Schmidt, age 92, of Hawley, died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. Born in Hawley, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Carrie (Miller) Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Schmidt, in 1992. She was a retired seamstress who had worked at Amber Mills in White Mills. A member of St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was also a Willing Worker. She is survived by a sister: Dorothy Rolston of Ascutney, VT; a sister-in-law: Gertrude Reineke of Hawley, PA; a niece and a nephew. There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, July 10, at 1:00PM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 405 Church St., Hawley, with Rev. David Heckler, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley, at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 405 Church St., Hawley, PA 18428
