Obituary of Gloria J. Altruda

Gloria J. Altruda, age 78, of Lakeville died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Mrs. Altruda was born October 4, 1926 at Huntington, NY the daughter of the late Nellie Durant. She retired from Macys in NY as a manager after 35 years of service. She was later employed in the ladies department at Ames in Hamlin, PA and later at the Human Resource Center in Beach Lake, PA. She is survived by two daughters: Stephanie T. Altruda of Lakeville, PA and Leslie Zwaik and her husband Mitchell of Blue Point, NY and 4 grandchildren, Paul V. Kearney of Lakeville, PA and Vanessa, David and Jacob Zwaik all of Blue Point, NY. Her sister-in-law, Brenda Varvaro of Atlantic City, NJ also survives. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
