Obituary of Francis Richard Yhlen, Sr.

Francis Richard Yhlen, Sr., age 77, Hawley, died Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. Born in North Bergen, NJ, he was the son of the late John and the late Adele (Riesdorpf) Yhlen. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Dolores I. Gubelman.
He was retired as a scallop & thread cutter in embroidery manufacturing in 1962. He was also a member of the Palisades Park Elks Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Carmen Lopez of Ridgefield, NJ; four sons: Gary Yhlen of Florida, Richard Yhlen of Forked River, NJ, Francis Richard Yhlen, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, and James Walter Hernandez of Fairview, NJ; a sister: Irene Burciar of New Jersey; three brothers: Robert, Henry and John Yhlen, all of New Jersey; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David.
